Producer extraordinaire Kaytranada takes no breaks, feeding his fans consistently with everything from bouncy, tropical instrumentals to darker dance cuts.
His latest project, TIMELESS, gives Kaytra a chance to flex his production chops with an army of vocalists including Anderson .Paak, SiR, Childish Gambino, PinkPantheress, Don Toliver, Channel Tres, Thundercat, Mariah the Scientist and more. Each track is perfectly crafted to fit its respective singers, from the infectious dance anthem “Witchy” with Childish Gambino to more introspective cuts like the Thundercat-assisted “Wasted Words”.
Kaytranada is a master of curation, creating a tracklist primed for summer from front to back. Solo tracks like “Please Babe” and “Seemingly” prove that the Canadian producer is more than capable of handling a track on his own, using the space left without vocals to create an atmospheric presence.
Fresh off collaborations with 03 Greedo, Mach-Hommy and Doechii, Kaytra has been relentless with his releases prior to this album. Although it’s unclear whether he will keep the momentum going or slow down after this wave of music, this project will always be TIMELESS.
