When it comes to classic Californian production, it’s difficult to find anyone as consistent as Mustard, one of hip-hop’s most prolific producers over the last decade. Rejoining the scene with a brand-new album full of hits, the producer extraordinaire is back to drop his sophomore album Faith of a Mustard Seed alongside a few of his favorite collaborators, old and new.

Mustard got the layup of the year from fellow Cali resident Kendrick Lamar when fans heard his iconic “Mustard on the beat, hoe” tagline as the opening line of “Not Like Us,” Kendrick’s finishing move in his beef against Drake. Despite his beat being used in the hit song, Mustard actually had no knowledge of it’s existence until it came out, coasting him perfectly into his album rollout.

With the rollout taken care of by Kenny, all Mustard had to do was drop some heat alongside a few of his frequent collaborators like Roddy Ricch, Vince Staples, Travis Scott, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, and Kodak Black, as well as some newcomers like Rob49 and BlueBucksClan.
