Ye’s standing in the public eye has been wavering at best, between personal controversies and mixed reception for his last few projects. Subsequently, the sequel for ‘Vultures’ with Ty Dolla $ign didn’t have the same anticipation, especially after multiple announcements and delays.

After a final missed release date, Ye and Ty streamed the album live on YouTube to thousands on August 2nd. Upon the first listen, many interesting observations were made, including the use of AI vocals, incomplete verses and major changes to previously leaked songs. Listeners had mixed reviews regarding their gratitude for new music but disappointment for the quality of a few songs.

Much to fans’ relief, Ye announced that changes would be made to the album in real time, with new songs being added and major changes to mixing and song sequencing.
